At your service, anytime, anywhere. The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) took another significant step toward building a digitally empowered organization and reinforced its commitment to public service with the launch of its enhanced website and the MyPDIC Portal. The launch of these initiatives served as the highlight of its 63rd Anniversary Program held on July 1, 2026, at the PDIC Chino Building in Makati City. Leading the launch were (right to left) DICT Undersecretary for E-Government David L. Almirol, Jr., PDIC President and CEO Roberto B. Tan, PDIC Board Director Imelda C. Tiongson, and PDIC Vice President Jose G. Villaret, Jr. (Corporate Affairs Group).
The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) officially launched its enhanced corporate website and its first electronic portal (e-portal), MyPDIC, during the Corporation's 63rd Anniversary Program on July 1, 2026, at the PDIC Chino Building in Makati City, marking a significant milestone in its digital transformation journey and strengthening its commitment to providing a more efficient, accessible, and client-focused public service.
The unveiling of these two key initiatives signified how the PDIC continues to adapt to the times and improves how it engages with its stakeholders and the general public.
"These platforms will make our services more accessible, efficient, and responsive to the needs of the public," PDIC President and CEO Roberto B. Tan said in his message.
With the launch of these two digital initiatives, Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Undersecretary for E-Government, David L. Almirol, Jr., expressed joy over how the government sector continues to leverage on technology and embrace digital transformation in its operations, citing that he gets more inspired every time a government-led innovation is launched. "The MyPDIC e-portal is a concrete example, a testimony, that modernization can actually happen. It’s not just about innovation. It’s about bringing government services closer to the people," Undersecretary Almirol shared.
More than a visual refresh, the redesigned PDIC website features a modern, intuitive, and user-friendly interface that provides visitors with easier access to information on deposit insurance, administrative issuances, corporate publications, public advisories, procurement projects and other key services.
Integrated into the enhanced website is the MyPDIC, an e-portal that centralizes its services on a secure one-stop shop online platform, eliminating the need for its clients to personally visit the PDIC office and making transactions faster, more convenient, and more efficient. Seamlessly connected to PDIC's existing systems, MyPDIC serves as a comprehensive digital gateway for banks, depositors and borrowers of closed banks, asset buyers, and job applicants.
Bank representatives can conveniently receive notices and advisories, submit regulatory reports, monitor audit status, request certifications and the PDIC decals and standees, and schedule briefings and orientations. For external individual clients, depositors of closed banks can update their records, file and monitor deposit insurance claims, and receive real-time updates of their claims application via email notifications. Borrowers of closed banks can access their loan account information, inquire about loan balances, and make loan payments. They may also request and download documents, such as Statements of Account, Cancellations of Mortgage, Certificates of Full Payment, and the application form for the Corporation's Closed Bank Loan Incentive Program (CLIP). The fully integrated online portal also allows asset buyers to browse available properties, participate in public e-biddings, and upload bidding requirements. Meanwhile, job applicants can search for vacancies, submit applications and documentary requirements, and track the progress of their applications.
The mobile-responsive e-portal has been designed with flexibility and scalability to accommodate future enhancements and additional services as the state deposit insurer continues to respond to evolving organizational requirements, stakeholder needs, and technological advancements.
The launch of the enhanced website and MyPDIC e-portal supports the Corporation's continuing efforts to modernize its processes and systems, strengthen operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with the National Government's policies and regulations; and represents a significant step toward building a more future-ready and digitally enabled organization.
